THE VERB 'TENER:' to have

The verb TENER is highly irregular in the manner it is conjugated. It does NOT follow any pattern. Essentially the only way to remember how it is conjugated is through using it a lot and memorization.

Following is the conjugation of TENER (to have)..

(yo) tengo	I have
(tú) tienes	you (familiar) have
(usted) tiene	you (formal) have
(él) tiene	he has
(ella) tiene	she has
(nosotros) tenemos	we have
(ustedes) tienen	'you all' have
(ellos) tienen	they have (all guys or mixed company)
(ellas) tienen	they have (girls only!)
