MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23: PART 1

¡ HOLA CLASE  !  ¡  FELIZ LUNES  !

I hope all of you are doing well and had a good weekend.  I am obviously not at school today (nor will I be tomorrow).

I need all of you to step up to the plate and be the best SPANISH 2 students EVER in the history of mankind!!!  Your activities are posted on Canvas.  Today's lessons are published...duh, if they weren't you wouldn't be reading this!  I will publish Tuesday's before school starts on Tuesday.  I don't want you working ahead and then having anything to do in class on Tuesday even though I totally understand that you would like to get everything over with all at once so you could have A LOT of free time.

Please take the work seriously and do your best.  I am trusting you will NOT use Google Translate!!!  Quoting Polonius from Act 1 Scene 3 of Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', "To thine own self be true."  Know that in most cases I can figure out if you've used a translator.  Remember if you do, it will result in ZERO with no re-dos.  Be okay with making mistakes.  It's all part of the process of learning a second (or more) language!  You will have an opportunity to make corrections; if needed, once I return.

Should you finish early, you may be on your phones.  I have noted that fact in my notes to the substitute.

Please try not to ask to go to the restroom.  IF you do, I want you to use the sign in/out form on the cart by the lectern.

In the meantime, do the activities I have posted and submit them as prompted.  IF you have questions, send them my way.  I will be checking emails off and on throughout the day.

Take care!

Mrs. Stewart
