1.6 Countries Where Spanish Is the National Language
When studying a foreign language, it is important to know where countries are located. A country's location is an important factor in the daily live and cultural traditions of the people who live there.
As a class we will brainstorm countries where Spanish is the national language.
You will then receive handouts of maps of Europe, Central and South America that will become permanent entries in your notebook.
You are to create a legend on each map highlighting the countries where Spanish is the national language.
You are to outline the borders of the countries where Spanish is the national language using markers, colored pencils/pens, highlighters, etc. to make the countries 'pop out.'
You will also receive a handout to add to your notebook to notate the capital of the countries.
The completion of the maps portion of this assignment is to be done on your own time. There will not be any class time dedicated to completing the maps.
