CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

I want our class to feel and function as a 'family.'  As a family member, you have many responsibilities. The most important is to be respectful.  A respectful members respects themselves, others, and the learning process.  I expect you to demonstrate respect by...

  • arriving on time and being ready for class to begin when the bell rings.
  • PUTTING AWAY ALL technological devices while in class unless instructed otherwise.  This includes earbuds!
  • disposing of gum upon entering the classroom.
  • making sure all food and drinks are put away or are placed on the counter by the time class starts.  You may have bottled water out.
  • being a good listener.
  • following directions.
  • participating appropriately in class discussions and group activities.
  • staying awake and being an engaged learner.
  • only working on activities having to do with Spanish (including no outside reading books.)
  • submitting neat, legible, and complete assignments on time.
  • being polite and respectful.
  • selecting language and dress that is appropriate.
  • helping put away materials when asked.
  • sitting properly at your desk until you are dismissed.
  • working hard and challenging yourself.
  • realizing you control your grade in our class.
  • taking responsibility for your education by arranging for extra help outside of class if necessary.
