1.8c Let's Talk About You!

After discussion of descriptive adjectives, you will receive a handout entitled  ' ¿ Cúal carrera es mejor para ti?' 

You will then take a multiple choice 'quiz' (not for points) that will determine your personality and what career path is best suited for you.

The purpose of this activity is to help you review adjectives and the concept of noun/adjective agreement in the Spanish language in a fun, quirky way.  It by NO means is based on authentic scientific research.

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Take the 10 question multiple choice quiz.

2.  Add up your responses (i.e. How many answers were 'A', 'B', etc.)?

3.  Whichever letter response you have the most of 'determines' which career is best suited for you.

4.  When finished, you will answer three questions in Spanish over the results of the 'quiz.

 

      ¿  Piensas que los resultados de esta prueba describen tu personalidad?

      (Do you think the results of this 'quiz' describe your personality?)

 

      ¿ Qué carrera te interesa a este tiempo en tu vida?

      (What career interests you at this time in your life?)

 

      ¿ Es la descripción de tu letra (A, B, C, D, E, F) correcta para tí?

     (Is the description of your letter correct for you?)

 

5.  The last requirement is that you will create a mini-slide show providing the following information:

•       Letter result of the survey (indicating your career choice)
•      3 adjectives (IN SPANISH) that describe your personality
•      3 possible career choices (try to think of some additional ones not listed on the handout)
•       What this type of person (based on the letter) likes to do (at least 1 thing)   
•       What this type of person (based on the letter)  doesn't like to do (at least 1 thing)

You will then present the slide show to the class in Spanish.
